IDEA Innovation Center was founded in 2015 as an incubator-accelerator for startups and an entrepreneurship hub for Cypriot young entrepreneurs. Today IDEA is the largest, non-profit, comprehensive organization in Cyprus which forms a cluster of private and public partnerships to support startups and innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It hosts startup companies offering them the highest quality of training and services, so as to turn their innovative ideas into viable businesses with a global outlook.
IDEA has won the first award by the European Commission in 2019 amongst 29 countries, for Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills. It is the only non-profit, comprehensive innovation centre in Cyprus aiming to develop successful businesses-startups, boost entrepreneurial culture and elevate Cyprus to a regional innovation hub.
The selected applicants will be offered a support package of services and cash, up to €60,000 per startup, through a programme dedicated to the commercialisation of their innovative idea.
